Winter Nail Art Inspiration

So my husbands Christmas Party is coming up and I wanted something nice and festive on my nails- Finally a date night without the kiddos! Lol. We live in Northern Florida and don’t see much snow here so I thought why not paint some snow on my nails! I just used a regular nail art brush similar to a nail striper brush to paint the snow flakes and the falling snow. I wish I would have used a small dotting tool instead for the falling snow but oh well there’s always next time. I also wanted a little sparkle to go along with the snow flakes so I used a round supper sparkly glitter polish for the center of my snowflakes- OPI I Snow You Love Me. The background color is such a beautiful grayish-blue with a gold shimmer throughout that isn’t picking up in the picture- OPI I Don’t Give a Rotterdam. I have had this color for a while and finally got around to using it. I love it with this design- it reminds me of the pretty and comfy Christmas sweaters you see in stores every year. I topped it all off with one of my favorite top coats- OPI Top Coat. This top coat isn’t fast drying but its worth the wait in my opinion. It makes my polish last for about a week with minimal wear. For the background color I did three thin coats for full opacity.

Let me know what you think of this design and if you have done a similar manicure before. I think this is so beautiful and Christmas party appropriate.  Now I just have to figure out what to wear! 🙂
