Fall is my favorite season of the year. It doesn’t last very long here in Florida but I look forward to it after our super hot summers. I get so excited when the weather starts to cool off and I can pull out my fall nail polishes. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE summer colors. Neon really does something for me haha, but I think that the darker richer colors look the best with my skin tone. Lets get into the colors and some swatches!
First of all we have Wet-N-Wild Under Your Spell. This is an awesome color. It’s a blackish brown base with a coppery red shimmer throughout. I love the brush that comes with this polish. Its wider and I’m able to cover more nail with fewer strokes. This was two coats for full opacity.
Next up is by Sinful Shine Whos the Gloss. This is a grayish purple with a slight green undertone. The green doesn’t show up in the picture much nor does the picture do this polish any real justice. This is a beautiful color and one that I use quite often in fall and in winter. Two coats for full opacity.
The next color is technically a summer color. It’s by Cover Girl and the color is Techno Glow. Its showing slightly brighter in the picture than in real life. Its more of a berry color and I really love it. This looks super awesome with a matte topcoat. Two coats for full opacity.
This beauty is Loreal Greycian Goddess. It’s a gorgeous mid tone gray. Its looking a little darker in the picture. I like wearing this in the spring also. I did three coats here for full opacity.
Lastly is OPI A Piers to be Tan. I just love brown polish! Especially with a gold accent nail. I look so forward to pulling out my brown polishes in fall..I have many..but this is my favorite. Two coats here for full opacity.
I didn’t use a topcoat in any of the pictures but with a good base coat and top coat all of these polishes are pretty long wearing.
I hope that you enjoyed my very first blog post. There are many more to come! Leave me some comments below as I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas for future posts!!
