Last week I posted about a nail design set I got from HB Beauty Bar by China Glaze. Its called the “Art You Looking Tribal” nail design kit. It comes with three full size polishes and a striper. Check out my last post for the color names and a small review. As I said last week I’d definitely be using this kit to create some nail art and this manicure was born :).
I used the nude color as the base and used a fan brush to create swipes of color across the nail. I layered the polishes and alternated colors and changed the direction of my swipes each time. I used a rounded tip brush and some acetone to get the half moon just right and then outlined it with the black nail striper. I also used the nail striper on my ring finger to outline my nail for the negative space look. I love negative space looks. I’m really into them lately and have been experimenting a lot. Ill be doing a lot more negative space manicures coming up. I finished off the look with a gold diamond shape stud to pull the look together. I ordered the studs from Amazon and they were super cheap (under two dollars) if you’re interested in picking some up.
I really like how this turned out. Very easy to do and minimal cleanup which is always nice! I hope you like this look and that you try it out for yourself. If so let me know down below in the comments and send me a picture. Id love to see you’re re-creations. Ill insert a picture here of the nail design set and a link to HB Beauty Bars website where you can order it! Link here
